Read the following article and answer the following questions:

Public Health Law in a New Century. Gostin L.O. 2000

1 Which public health core function is principally addressed by the author? Give one or two other examples of how this core function is used in public health.



2 Summarize the main points of each of the five essential characteristics of the article. Indicate whether you agree or disagree with the author`s position and why.





Note: In your write-up use section headings for each question and subheadings for each of the five characteristics discussed.
