Based on your research and understanding of IDE, post your response to the following question:

When you start programming in languages like Java, C#, C++,etc. you will have basically two option: Use a full-blown IDE like Eclispe, visual studio or to use a basic text editor like notepad or vi if you are a Linux user for example. Do IDEs help or hinder newbies learning to code? Should they first be exposed to a text editor without a lot of fancy features to learn how to set things up? What is your opinion?

Solution

• IDEs may hinder newbies from Code Exposure and thus Learning to Code. IDEs have features like Intellisense and Autocomplete which make the coding process less tedious. This is not advisable for a newbie as he/she is not able to remember the syntax offhead.

  Newbies should first be exposed to a text editor without fancy features then later come to IDEs

  IDEs should only be used by at least intermediate level programmers or higher

The company hired you because of your expertise with mobile apps, social media, and cloud technology.
