For Ged, the evil comes into his life through his Pride comes to being as the shadow. Ged constant battle with the shadow. How does Ged overcome his pride. at the ending of Chapter 10, when Ged faces the shadow and we learn that they share the same name. This is kind of surprising ending, because instead the killing evil force, Ged seems to absorb it – as if his shadow were part of him. What`s up with that ending?
