The author ensures that the theme of self-preservation is enhanced with a lot of clarity in the play. The writer expressed the idea especially in his two main characters, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. At first, the two characters were real people, responsible and respected human life which is the reason why even Macbeth was given a res
