Identify the approach that best fits your personal and professional philosophy of nursing and explain why the approach is suited to your personal leadership style.

i am working DOU. Our ratio is 3 to 1. One RN should take care of 3 patients in 12 hours shift no matter how patient`s acuity is. It is strict policy. house supervise does not care about this. Problem is, Usually there are no break nurses, no resource nurses due to nurse shortage and turn-over. It is hard to recruit nurses too. Nurses even cannot find a time for voiding. Too much burden and too much stresses, nurses resign quickly and find other job. I feel like to resign my job due to the work stresses and whole body pain. if resource nurses exist in my shift, i will feel better already, and i do not mind if my work load is heavy. because I have a hope to take my breath during break time which is required by the law. Other than nurse to patient ratio, resource nurse is also a must to do for the quality nursing.
