Counterfeit banknotes The data in the file banknote.txt contains information on 100 counterfeit Swiss banknotes with Y = 0 and 100 genuine banknotes with Y = 1. Also included are six physical measurements of the notes, including the Length, Diagonal and the Left and Right edges of the note, all in millimeters, and the distance from the image to the Top edge and Bottom edge of the paper, all in millimeters (Flury and Riedwyl, 1988). The goal of the analysis is to estimate the probability or odds that a banknote is counterfeit, given the values of the six measurements.
