My name is Austin M. Terrell. I will graduate from Vicksburg High School in May 2014. I have lived with my grandparents for 17 and 1/2 years. Without having their support, love and financial assistance, I don`t know where I would be today. By applying for this Book Scholarship I am hoping that I will be able to take some of the finiancial responsibility off of my grandparents since they will be paying for my education. I hate to see them take their retirement savings to pay for all my education. This scholarship will help me pay for some of the book expenses I will acquire while working on my career goal of becoming a Computer Technologist at Alcorn State University. If I receive this book scholarship, I will commit myself to take full advantage of the opportunity the scholarship will provide me. I am an above average student who works very hard to maintain my grades. I know that my career aspirations will remain dreams if I`m not able to help aquire some scholarships to help with my schooling.
